Dashboard selection and preferences

The Preferences text gives the dashboard-selection order. It gives information about shared organization settings and per-entity mappings.

Displayed selection precedence

The app uses the per-entity mapping first. Without that mapping, it uses the entity-type default before the organization-wide fallback.

The displayed configuration path is Configure → Overview mapping.

Select Settings.
Select Preferences.
Read Overview default dashboard.
Read the Devices and Clusters selections in Default board per entity type.
The example configuration has Site Overview in the three selectors.
Select Close settings.

Preference	Displayed choices and meaning
Pan buttons	The UI gives an on-map arrow pad as a feature.
Device grouping	Off, Tight, Normal, Loose. The UI gives nearby pins as count bubbles.
Focus shading	Off, Small, Medium, Large. The UI gives dimming of other pins when a device is open.
