Add a widget
The + control opens the Add widgets window. A widget's type is fixed after it is added.

Select Configure.
Select + in the pending bar.
The Add widgets window opens with one tile for each widget type.
Select a widget type.
Select Add.
The widget appears in the pending bar.
Drag the widget from the pending bar into a tray. To make a new tray, drag it into an empty grid cell.
Select the widget's configuration button to set its data and display. See Widget settings.
Select Save.
The type cannot be changed after the widget is added. To use another type, delete the widget and add a new one.
