Configure an alert
This flow applies to an existing alert with a default template. Each editable section has its own Save and Cancel controls.

Default template configuration flow
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Severity | Low, Medium, or High. This is in Setup. |
| Check window | The data interval used by the template. Read it with the condition. |
| Ignore after trigger | Suppresses repeat notifications per device for the selected interval. None permits each new match. |
| Conditions | Parameter, comparison (≥, ≤, or =), and value in the displayed unit. Condition adds a condition row. |
| Devices | The devices checked by the alert. The selector has a device or tag search. |
| Email Recipients | Email addresses for alert notifications. |
| SMS Receivers | Phone numbers and country codes for SMS notifications. |
The alert name is a label. Read the actual parameter, comparison, and unit in Conditions.
